Tile Rake Ridge Repair
Rake ridge on a tile roof in Rocklin can be a problem when the nails holding it on the roof begin to back out and leave the rake ridge vulnerable to blowing off. The fact that there are two nails, one in the middle and one in the rear, covered by the overlapping ridge, means that you won't have a rake ridge falling off if the first nail falls out. But if the back nail was not nailed into the barge rafter properly (and this is a common occurance) then you will have falling rake ridges soon. Re-nailing the middle of the rake ridge with a long enough nail to penetrate into the barge rafter (at least 3/4" or more) would be the fix for this problem.
